The autumn / winter vaccination programme 2026/2027 for Seasonal Influenza

& COVID-19 has commenced.

​Your GP can give you the flu vaccine without charge in 2026/2027, if you are in any of the following groups:  

• Aged 60 years and older 

• Aged 6 months and older at increased risk of influenza related complications: 

• Healthcare workers 

• Pregnant women (at any stage of pregnancy) 

• Carers and household contacts of people at increased risk of influenza related complications 

• People with close, regular contact with pigs, poultry or water fowl 

• All children and young people aged 2 to 17 years
